Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to ensure the daily operations of our rubber v belt manufacturing plant in Kulai, Johor.
Responsibilities
1. Planning and organising production schedule.
2. Overseeing production and warehousing process.
3. Determine quality control standards.
4. Communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job outcomes.
5. Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budget, analyzing variances and
initiating corrective actions.
6. Recruit, select, orientate, and train new employees.
7. Organize repair and routine maintenance schedule of production equipment.
Requirements
1. Degree in Production, Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
2. More than 5 years proven experience in production management, preferably in rubber industries.
3. Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
4. Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
5. Proficient in MS Office (especially EXCEL) and ERP software.
6. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
7. Strong technical skills & attention to details.
8. Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
9. Results driven and strong decision making skills
